Your Heritage Is Your Power
I know how exhausting it can be to make others comfortable at the expense of expressing who you are. As a Black girl raised by a single mother on Baltimore’s East Side, I experienced that pressure in predominantly white schools, universities, and workplaces. You may know it too: the silence, the accommodation, the parts of yourself you’ve hidden to belong.
I’m a Ph.D.-trained political scientist, educator, coach, and advocate living in Belize. My work has centered on power—who holds it, who can access it, and who is left out. Through Oh Speak, I bring that understanding to coaching for Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other marginalized midlife achievers who feel disconnected from themselves despite their accomplishments.
Together, we’ll make space to reclaim your identity, recognize your strengths, and practice choices that reflect what matters to you. Through my RESTORE approach, I offer reflection, encouragement, practical planning, and accountability as you reconnect with purpose and community.
